Terms of Service

By creating an account or using challengR you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. You must be at least 18 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use challengR.

challengR is currently offered as a Beta service and is provided for evaluation and demonstration. During Beta, challengR Coins, prize pools, tips, and creator payouts do not involve real money and carry no cash value — no real-money purchases are charged and no funds are disbursed. Features, balances, and challenges may change or be reset while we develop the platform. We will update these Terms before any real-money features are enabled.

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate others or operate multiple accounts to manipulate scores, leaderboards, tips, or prize outcomes.

You retain ownership of the videos and other content you submit. By posting, you grant challengR a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and promote your content in connection with operating the platform. You represent that you have the rights to everything you upload.

You may not upload content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, sexually explicit, harassing, or otherwise violates our guidelines, and you may not attempt to game the AI scoring system, exploit the coin economy, or interfere with the platform's operation. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Renditions are scored by automated models. Scores, rankings, and prize eligibility are determined by challengR and may incorporate human review. You acknowledge that scoring is an algorithmic estimate and that our determinations regarding rankings and winners are final.

challengR Coins are a virtual, in-platform credit with no cash value and are not legal tender. During the Beta service, coin balances do not involve real money and no real-money purchases are charged. Coins are non-transferable except through supported features (such as tipping) and may not be exchanged outside the platform.

Tips are voluntary transfers of coins from a supporter to a creator for a specific rendition. Tips are final once sent. A portion of tip value may be retained by the platform as a service fee as described in-app.

Challenges may advertise a prize pool funded in coins by a brand sponsor or a creator. Funded prize coins are held in a per-challenge escrow. After a challenge closes, the pool is distributed to winners based on AI rankings and a configurable split, and only registered creators eligible to receive coins can be awarded. Distribution decisions made by challengR are final.

Coins received through tips and prizes may convert to earnings subject to a platform share disclosed in-app. Payouts are processed through a request queue subject to minimum thresholds, verification, and applicable law. During the Beta service, payouts do not involve real money and no funds are actually disbursed. Real-money payouts will only be enabled after we update these Terms and complete the required verification and legal requirements.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, challengR is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of content, coins, earnings, or prizes.

You may stop using challengR at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or to protect the platform and its users.

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Questions can be sent to legal@challengr.net.
