How it works

Create, compete, and get rewarded

challengR turns AI video creation into a competition. Join a challenge, upload your rendition, and let the AI judge score your creativity — then climb the leaderboard, earn tips from fans, and win prize pools. Here's everything the platform can do.

Four steps to get started

  1. 1

    Find a challenge

Browse live challenges hand-picked for you. Each one has a prompt video to beat, a deadline, and — for sponsored challenges — a prize pool up for grabs.

  2. 2

    Upload your rendition

Record or generate your take and upload it as a rendition. A short vertical clip is all it takes to enter and appear in the challenge gallery.

  3. 3

    Get scored by AI

Our AI judge scores every rendition on creativity, timing, and energy. Your score ranks you against everyone else who entered the same challenge.

  4. 4

    Climb and win

Rise up the leaderboard, collect likes and tips from fans, and claim your share of the prize pool when the challenge closes.

Every feature, explained

A full tour of what you can do on challengR.

Challenges & renditions

Every challenge is a prompt video. Your rendition is your entry — beat the original or reinvent it. All entries appear in the challenge's gallery for fans to watch, like, and tip.

AI scoring

Automated AI models evaluate each rendition and assign a score that powers rankings and prize eligibility. Scores are combined with fan engagement to keep things fair and fun.

Leaderboards

Global and per-challenge leaderboards rank creators by AI score and fan likes. There are coin leaderboards too, celebrating the biggest supporters and top earners.

Coin economy

Coins are the in-app currency. Buy coins to tip creators and fund pools, and earn coins from tips, prizes, and rewards. Your balance and full transaction history live in your wallet.

Tips

Send coins to any rendition you love. Tips go straight to the creator's balance (minus a small platform fee) and boost that creator on the coin leaderboard.

Prize pools

Sponsored and self-funded challenges carry a prize pool held in escrow. When the challenge closes, the pool is distributed to the top-ranked creators automatically.

Boosts

Give a rendition extra visibility with a boost. Boosted entries surface higher in feeds and galleries for a limited window, helping great work get seen.

Brands & sponsors

Brands launch sponsored challenges with real prize pools and see entry-level performance for the challenges they back — connecting creators with the companies that fund the fun.

Memberships

Free and paid plans unlock more. Members get perks like waived creation fees, higher limits, and exclusive rewards. See the Pricing page for what each tier includes.

Tools

Your settings include a Tools section with hand-picked links to the AI video-generation platforms we recommend, so you can create standout renditions faster.

Saved videos & Shorts

Save any rendition to watch later, and scroll the Shorts feed — a vertical stream of the best renditions across every challenge on the platform.

Referrals

Invite friends with your referral link. When they join and get active, you both earn rewards — growing the community and your coin balance at the same time.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a rendition?

A rendition is your entry into a challenge — a short video that responds to or reimagines the challenge's prompt video. You can upload one rendition per challenge and it appears in that challenge's gallery.

How does the AI scoring work?

When you submit a rendition, automated AI models analyze it and produce a score reflecting creativity, timing, and energy. That score, combined with fan likes, determines your position on the leaderboard and your prize eligibility.

How do I earn coins?

You earn coins when fans tip your renditions, when you place in a prize pool, and through rewards like referrals. You can also buy coins to tip other creators and help fund pools.

What are coins worth?

Coins are an in-app currency used for tipping and funding pools. Whilst in beta, coins carry no real monetary value.

How are prize pools paid out?

A challenge's prize pool is held in escrow until the deadline. When the challenge closes, the pool is automatically distributed to the top-ranked creators based on final standings.

Is there a fee to create a challenge?

Creating a challenge may include a small creation fee and any prize pool you choose to fund, collected up front. Some membership tiers waive the creation fee — check the Pricing page for details.

What does a boost do?

A boost temporarily lifts a rendition higher in feeds and galleries so more people see it. Boosts run for a limited window and can be free or cost coins depending on current settings.

How do I win a challenge?

Upload a strong rendition, earn a high AI score, and collect likes and tips from fans. The highest-ranked creators when the challenge closes claim the crown and their share of any prize pool.
