Creator Terms
Last updated: Draft (Beta)
These Creator Terms supplement the challengR Terms of Service and apply when you host challenges, publish prompts, or earn from tips and prizes. They are being finalized with counsel; the outline below shows what they will cover.
1.Eligibility & account
Draft — pending legal review. This section is a placeholder outline. Final creator terms will be published after counsel review before real-money creator features are enabled.
Who can be a creator, age and verification requirements, and the relationship between your creator account and your challengR account.
2.Content ownership & license
You keep ownership of what you create. This section will define the license you grant challengR to host, display, and promote your challenges and any associated media.
3.Prizes, tips & earnings
How prize pools, tips, and the platform's revenue share work, payout thresholds and timing, and applicable fees. During Beta these involve no real money and no funds are disbursed.
4.Creator obligations
Rules for running fair challenges, honoring advertised prizes, avoiding misleading claims, and complying with the Community Guidelines and applicable contest/sweepstakes law.
5.Taxes
Your responsibility for taxes on earnings, information (e.g. tax forms) we may need to collect, and withholding where required.
6.Suspension & termination
When creator privileges may be paused or ended, what happens to pending earnings, and how to appeal.
challengR is currently in Beta. During Beta, challengR Coins, prize pools, and creator payouts do not involve real money and carry no cash value. This document is provided for informational purposes and is not legal advice.
